What’s new?
We’re introducing a new custom field setting that gives Event Organizers more control over how sensitive attendee data is shared—keeping it hidden on profiles, while still making it available where it matters most: in exports for qualified leads.
With this enhancement, custom fields like addresses, job titles, or preferences can be made invisible on public-facing profiles but still included in exports for attendees and teams who’ve made real connections.
Why it matters
🔒 Stronger privacy by default
Not all data needs to be visible to everyone. With this update, organizers can keep certain fields private—while still giving exhibitors the info they need to follow up effectively.
🤝 Value for sponsors & exhibitors
When an attendee connects with a team or individual, any custom fields marked as "export-only" will appear in the Connections export or the Teams Contacts export—making it easier to personalize outreach without compromising privacy.
Keep profiles focused and uncluttered, while ensuring key contact details are still accessible in the backend—only when a connection exists.
Why you’ll love it
✅ Protect attendee data while still powering effective lead capture
✅ Meet exhibitor needs for contact details without exposing sensitive info
✅ Simplify your workflows—no more manual data sharing or visibility trade-offs
This update gives you the best of both worlds: elevated privacy for participants and greater utility for your exhibitors and sponsors. It’s privacy-first lead management, done right.
