The problem
Event organizers often disable profile editing within the Grip platform, but still need participants to update their data in the central participant’s registry. We want to streamline this process by allowing organizers to attach personalized URLs that direct participants to specialized pages for data updates.
The Solution
We’re enhancing the existing URL field that appears when profile editing is disabled at the Data Type level. Organizers will now have the option to choose between a Regular URL or a Personalized URL through a simple dropdown. This allows event organizers to either link participants to a general page or provide a personalized login link that takes them directly to their profile for editing.

This new flexibility simplifies the process for event organizers and participants alike. Organizers can guide participants to the right place to update their information, either through a general or personalized link, ensuring a smoother data management experience on both web and mobile apps.
