What it does

We’re upgrading our MustMeet scoring engine to deliver faster, smarter, and more transparent scoring, helping organizers understand compatibility between participants and drive better meeting outcomes.

This includes a full infrastructure refactor for major performance gains, along with improvements to score distribution, data clarity, and organizer insights within the MustMeet scoring table.

Why it matters:

⚡ Faster, more scalable scoring

MustMeet scores now generate significantly faster, improving turnaround time for high-volume MustMeet events and making the system easier to support and maintain.

🎯 Better score differentiation

We’ve expanded scoring brackets and improved score spread when AI scoring is in use, resulting in clearer separation between participants and marginally higher-quality matches.

🔍 More transparency for organizers

New data points in the scoring table make it simpler to understand why a score is what it is, without digging through long ‘Score Reason’ text.

To sum it up, the update brings us:

  • Performance upgrades
  • Major infrastructure improvements drastically reduce the time required to generate scores.

  • Improved AI-driven score spread
  • A wider range of score brackets and better distribution within them means more meaningful distinctions between participant pairs.

  • New scoring insights in the dashboard:
    • Preference Summary: A concise overview of the two-way preference, merging sharer + company preferences.
    • Mutual Preference Indicator: Quick “Yes/No” visibility when both participants expressed a positive preference for each other.
    • Custom Field Match Indicator: Highlights when two participants share at least one matching custom field (great for explaining compatibility).

The result

Sharper scoring, faster performance, and clearer insights → all working together to make MustMeet matching more accurate and more explainable for organizers.

A better foundation for recommendations, better visibility for event teams, and better meetings for participants.
