What it does:

Adds visibility, guidance, and safeguards in Engage when an event is using Grip Manage as its registration system, helping organizers maintain data integrity and streamline access to key registration fields like FastPass links, Badge Codes, and Smart Badge IDs.

Why it matters:

When profile data flows from Grip Manage, organizers need clear signals to avoid accidentally overwriting key attendee info or creating duplicate profiles. This update makes organizers more aware of potential issues, and surfaces the right fields and warnings to ensure everything stays in sync.

What’s included:

🧭 Grip Manage Toggle (Event-Level)

• Shows helpful warnings if organizers attempt to manually create new profiles or change email addresses
• Ensures organizers understand that profile data should be owned by Manage where applicable
• Enables visibility of Manage-linked fields on profile edit pages

👁️ New read-only fields in engage (for all profiles)

• Badge Code
• Record ID
• FastPass URL
• Ticket Management URL

These fields display automatically when the Manage toggle is enabled - providing clear insight into essential registration info without diving into metadata.

🔗 Personalized URLs getting smarter

• These new fields are also available for Personalized URL tokens, making it easier to build registration confirmation links or custom navigation experiences tied to each attendee.
